Writing for Public Relations

Catalog description

Prerequisites: COMS 225 or permission of instructor. Pre- or Corequisites: COMS 225 - Introduction to Public Relations is a pre-requisite for COMS 235 (or permission of instructor). Provides students with the theory and technical knowledge necessary to produce messages as professional communicators. Students will develop skills in a variety of writing formats and learn to utilize desktop publishing and graphics software in the production of messages. REAL Area L Note(s): This course already has the “L” REAL designation.
