-3) Prerequisites: CHEM 301 or permission of instructor. A laboratory experience where the student performs self-directed chemical research with the guidance and supervision of a faculty mentor. Note(s): May be taken more than once for credit. Only a maximum of six credit hours of CHEM 481 may be applied to the Chemistry major; any additional credit hours will counts as free electives.
