Instructional Method: Three hours lecture. Prerequisites: BIOL 106 , BIOL 111 , BIOL 229 , or BIOL 230 ; and CHEM 112 ; and CHEM 301 . Cross-Listed: BIOL 471 Introduces students to the fundamental building blocks of biomolecules, biopolymers, membranes, supramolecular structure, enzyme kinetics and mechanisms, biological equilibria and thermodynamics, and cellular metabolism.
