Organic Chemistry II

Catalog description

Instructional Method: Three hours lecture; three hours laboratory. Prerequisites: CHEM 301 . Pre- or Corequisites: CHEM 112 . This course will continue to introduce students to organic chemistry including nomenclature, molecular structure, properties of molecules, and organic synthesis. The laboratory portion of this course will expose students to chemical synthesis and spectrometric molecular structure determination as performed by professional chemists.
