Prerequisites: A cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher and a grade of “C” or better in CHEM 120 or CHEM 111 . Fundamentals of microbiology including the morphology and taxonomy of the major groups of microorganisms, including viruses. Discussions of the growth, cultivation, reproduction, effects of physical and chemical agents and transmission of disease. REAL Area R Note(s): Not intended for Freshman, can receive credit for only one of the following BIOL 334 or BIOL 408.
