Instructional Method: Three hours lecture. Prerequisites: BIOL 212 or ; BIOL 334 . Addresses the physiological mechanisms of pharmacology, including concepts in pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, drug development, safety, selection, and monitoring for safety issues. Drug classifications, appropriate uses, and applications are discussed.
