Catalog description

Instructional Method: Three hours lecture. Prerequisites: A grade of “C” or better in BIOL 111 . Introduction to modern hypotheses on the mechanisms of genetic change in populations, speciation, origins of higher taxa, causes of extinctions, and modern approaches to classification. Concepts will be applied to human evolution and conservation.
