Seminar in African American Studies

Catalog description

Instructional Method: Three hours lecture. Prerequisites: Students will complete AAST 200 and AAST 390 before completing AAST 490. This course serves as the culmination of the interdisciplinary African American Studies minor. Students will revisit and synthesize concepts, theories, and methods from the minor’s content and develop a cogent capstone project. Note(s): This course provides students with the opportunity to showcase their connections to the humanistic and artistic learning objectives within the African American Studies minor.
