Instructional Method: Three hours lecture. This course offers a comprehensive exploration of the African American experience through a rigorous historical inquiry. It surveys cultural representations and artistic expressions employing multiple interdisciplinary approaches. Grounded in a unique black perspective, it critically analyzes key conceptual frameworks across various academic disciplines, encompassing, but not limited to, education, history, and sociology REAL Area E Note(s): General Education and Humanistic or Artistic Expression designated course.
