Catalog description

Regression analysis is a foundation for modeling data to answer research questions in social sciences and beyond. This course will allow students an opportunity to explore regression in detail and, in the process, will introduce them to the statistical software, R, which is gaining popularity in graduate programs and workplaces because of its power and flexibility. Required prerequisite: MAT 131 or equivalent; Recommend prerequisite: One semester of research methods (e.g. PSY 300, POL/SOC 250). Credit: 4.
