Resident Assistant Gateway Course

Catalog description

This course is designed to further enhance leadership skills and deepen understanding of the role of Resident Assistant. Each week, students will engage in topics that will not only increase self-awareness, but also aid learners in building a vibrant campus community through the lens of student development. Using classroom tools like group discussion, reflection opportunities, and article analysis, we will balance the importance of community development with skills related to professional preparedness for the post-graduate workforce. Required for all Resident Assistants at Queens University of Charlotte. Course may be repeated. Permission of instructor required.
