Catalog description

Ongoing debates about religion, politics, identity, and rights make it clear that religion is one of the most powerful forces in public life. This course is designed to help student identify and unpack the complex ways in which religious communities and their commitments impact policy- making and elections. Depending on the faculty member's specialization, this course may focus on the United States or another region of the world. Prerequisite: None. (Offered as needed.) Credit: 4.
