Catalog description

This course is designed to provide an in-depth exploration of the field of physiological psychology. The main focus of this course is on gaining a detailed understanding of the structure and function of the human brain and nervous system. We will cover many topics including the intricacies of neurons, various forms of biologically based behavior and some of the neurological disorders. For each of these areas, the primary emphasis will be on the physiological aspects and their influences on human behavior. Prerequisite: PSY 101. (Offered every spring term.)
