Catalog description
The study of the interface between psychology and law, emphasizing the application of scientific knowledge to the public sphere. Includes the study of jury dynamics, eyewitness behavior and testimony, forensic implications of memory research, child custody, death penalty mitigation, legal competence, and the insanity defense. Prerequisite: PSY 101. (Offered as needed.)
