Biophotonics is a multidisciplinary field combining photonics and biology and investigating how light interacts with biological materials. This course focuses on understanding the principles of photonics, light-tissue interaction, and techniques like spectroscopy and microscopy which have wide applications in the realm of biology. Corequisite: None. Prerequisite: None. (Offered every odd fall term.) Credits: 3
