Catalog description

Algebra-based introduction to physics covering the fundamental principles of mechanics, heat, sound, light, electricity and magnetism, and atomic physics. Lab fee applies. Prerequisite: MAT 125, MAT 140 or successfully pass the Calculus Readiness Test. Students cannot receive credit for both PHY 201 and PHY 211. Corequsite: PHY 201L.. (Offered every fall term.)
