Catalog description
Ethics Practicum. A supervised independent study for students interested in attaining experience applying ethical theory in real-world contexts. One option involves researching and participating in a hospital ethics committee that reviews ethical cases brought by patients and their families and that practices ethics policy making. Another option is to join the Queens Ethics debate team; researching and preparing ethical cases and then debating them with teams from other North Carolina colleges and universities. (Offered as needed). 1-4 credits.
