Catalog description

Involves the examination of theoretical concepts and foundations for public health nursing, nursing in communities, and populations. The class examines the integration of the practice of professional nursing in public health and clinical practice in simulation and community settings. Class 3 hours per week. Clinical 45 hours per semester. Prerequisite: NUR 470, NUR 474, and NUR 491. Corequisites: NUR 475, NUR 495, and NUR 497. (Offered every fall and spring term.)
