Catalog description

continuation of MUS 209. Further chromatic harmony will be included in four-part writing in homophonic texture and analysis as well as various synthetic scales, serialism, set theory, and other 20th Century techniques. This course will include an introduction to twentieth-century techniques. This course is intended for music majors, as part of a four-semester sequence. Prerequisite: MUS 200. (Offered every spring term.)
