Catalog description

continuation of MUS 208. Ear Training and Aural Skills will include various identifications of four-part chromatic harmony, interval identification, and sight singing in addition to aural identification of large forms and popular music forms. Improvisation in jazz and blues styles as well as chromatic solfege will be included in sight-singing examples. This course is intended for music majors, as part of a four- semester sequence. Prerequisite: MUS 208. (Offered every spring term.)
