Applied Decision-Making: The course explores decision- making at the individual team, and organizational levels. By gaining awareness and understanding of cognitive biases and influences, the course aims to improve decision-making at all levels. For organizational decision-making, a variety of stakeholders' perspectives are considered to address the potential impacts of the decision. Students are armed with a weighted decision-making approach, which allows for the inclusion of both quantitative and qualitative factors. An applied project is required component of the course, in which students are working on a business situation that explores the realities of organizational decision-making. Prerequisites: MGT 333 or MGT 345 (Offered as needed.)
