Catalog description
This course is designed and developed to provide students an understanding of cultural differences and the means for managing these differences in international and multicultural business environments. The course will focus on developing intercultural intelligence (interpersonal approaches and skills) for managing the overall global economy. Topics covered will examine the meaning and dimensions of culture, comparative international management and leadership styles, and managing cross-cultural communications including negotiations, decision-making, ethics, and global team management. Prerequisite: Sophomore Standing. (Offered every fall term.)
