Catalog description

This is a basic survey of management theory with emphasis on the functional and task requirements of management and behavioral considerations. Specific topics include the planning, organizing, and controlling functions of management, contemporary models of organizational design; motivation and performances; and group behavior and influence processes. Prerequisite: Sophomore standing. (Offered fall, spring, and summer terms.)
