Elementary Foreign Language II

Catalog description

This course is a continuation of LNG 101 and focuses on the fundamental elements of the target language within a cultural context. Emphasis is on the progressive development of listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Upon completion, students should be able to comprehend and respond with increasing proficiency to spoken and written language and should be able to demonstrate further cultural awareness. Offered on a rotating basis as demand and faculty with sufficient credentials dictate. May be repeated with different languages for a total of 24 hours. Prerequisite: LNG 101, placement exam, or permission of instructor. (Offered every spring term.)
