Sport Sociology

Catalog description

This course provides an introduction to the study of sport and its relationship to society and other social institutions. Emphasis is placed on the current relationships between sport and society (i.e., "Sport is a microcosm of society.") Prerequisite: None; however, a course in sociology is recommended. (Offered every fall and spring term.)
