Introduction to Sport Management

Catalog description

This course explores the diverse, expanding field of sport management including professional, college, amatuer, for profit, and non-profit sport organizations. It is designed to provide a comprehensive examination of the basic organizational structures found in the sport industry. Students will study applications of managerial concepts and processes and the ways in which organizations interact with internal and external agencies. Prerequisite: None. (Offered every fall and spring term.)
