Catalog description

What are interior environments composed of? How are interior environments assembled? This course covers the poetic, pragmatic, and tectonic concerns of using materials in the interior, including their type, application, fabrication, quality, performance, sustainability, testing, sourcing, acoustical properties, methods of specification and assembly, with a focus on typical construction and fabrication techniques for the interior environment. Prerequisite: None. (Offered every fall term.)
