Catalog description
How does the designer communicate? In this course students are introduced to the fundamental principles and skills used in design drawing, focusing on methods used in representing the built environment through contour, orthographic, paraline, and perspective projection, following conventions of architectural standards, using b/w illustration, and rendering techniques to produce presentation drawings and layouts. A grade of C or higher must be earned in this course. Prerequisite: None. Corequisite: IAD 111. (Offered every fall term.)
