Catalog description

This seminar engages students in the research techniques and writing styles used by historians, attorneys, legal researchers and others engaged in the systematic reconstruction of past events. Students will work with both primary and secondary materials, and will produce an original research project at the end of the semester. This course fulfills the writing-intensive course requirement for the history department. No prerequisite. (Offered every other spring semester.)
