Chemical Dependency

This course provides an introduction to the history of drug addiction and chemical dependency in our society and explores its impact on families and society. Students will explore theories related to the causes of chemical dependency, demonstrate knowledge of treatment models and examine preventative measures. Prerequisite: None. (Offered every spring term.)
