US Healthcare System: This course encompasses a critical examination of the healthcare system in the United States, building from an introduction of local, state, national, international, public, for-profit, and not-for-profit dimensions of this complex system. Historical, sociopolitical, cultural, and economic factors and implications for consumers and healthcare professionals are explored. No prerequisite. (Offered fall and spring.)
