Catalog description

Concepts in Digitial Healthcare: This course introduces students to the emerging field of digital health and explores integral concepts and definitions in digital health using real world case studies to provide an in-depth analysis of digital health applications. Topics will include emerging healthcare technologies, Internet of Medical Things, telemedicine, machine learning, big data analytics & artificial intelligence, security and privacy issues, clinical decision support systems, and consumer health informatics and more. Students will learn how these topics influence the delivery of healthcare both clinically and administratively. Students in this course will also explore future considerations for digital health. (Offered Fall Semester) Credits 4
