Catalog description

Written Expression and Reading Comprehension. This course provides a review and expansion of the essential skills of the French language. Through the use of literature, history and culture of the countries where French is spoken, students increase reading comprehension, expand vocabulary, improve both oral and written linguisitic expression, increase aural comprehension and review grammatical structures. Upon completion, students should be able to communicate spontaneously and accurately with increasing complexity and sophistication. Prerequisite: FRN 102, placement exam, or permission of instructor. (Offered every spring term.)
