Catalog description

This course introduces the basic concepts, principles and analytical techniques of corporate financial management. Topics include financial ratio analysis, time value of money, valuation of stocks and bonds, the relationship between risk and return, cost of capital, capital budgeting, and long-term financing decisions. Emphasis is placed on understanding how financial decisions affect firm value in a risk-return framework. Prerequisites: ACC210, ECO205. (Offered fall, spring, and summer). Credit. 3.
