Creative Nonfiction Workshop

Catalog description

An intensive study of the writing of nonfiction, focusing on advanced techniques of narration, exposition, descriptive detail, scenic development, point of view, and other elements of nonfiction. All instruction and discussion is a part of a small group and is revision based. ENG 522/524/526 are repeatable for up to a total of 24 credit hours, or by permission of the program administration. Graded: Pass/fail. (Offered in the summer term.)
