Fiction Workshop

Catalog description

An intensive study of the writing of fiction, focusing on advanced techniques of narration, exposition, descriptive detail, scenic development, point of view, and other elements of fiction. All instruction and discussion is a part of a small groups and is revision-based. ENG 502/504/506 are repeatable for up to a total of 24 hours, or by permission of the program administration. Graded: Pass/fail. (Offered in the summer term.)
