Catalog description
An intensive study of the writing of poetry, focusing on a command of image, figurative language, lineation, form, and other aspects of craft and prosody. Instruction and discussion are revision based. Special attention will be given to scholarly criticism of contemporary poetry. Prerequisite: ENG 206. (Offered every third term in rotation with ENG 307 and ENG 310.)
