Catalog description

This course is designed to teach candidates the development and enactment of laws and policies designed to protect the rights of persons with special needs and disabilities. The course examines significant legislation contributing to policies affecting the population of students including disability legislation/policy on local, state, national, and international levels. Prerequisite: EDU 620. Credits: 3.
