Catalog description

This course will examine school outreach to families, business partners, and to faith-based and civic organizations as multiple models of how to build strong partnerships between school and community. Candidates will learn how to build strong community relationships and collaborate with external stakeholders. Candidates will develop and implement a project with external partners to bring students and their families together at the school. Differentiated coursework, research and application will align to candidates’ individual specialty area. Credits: 3
