This course will focus on an understanding of 21st century skills and themes and it will engage students in discussions, activities, and projects related to issues of information, media, and visual literacies. Emphasis is placed on developing an understanding of the ethical and legal issues surrounding the access and use of information, evaluating social and cultural differences in order to collaborate effectively with others from a range of social and cultural backgrounds, examining how media can influence beliefs and behaviors, and utilizing appropriate visual media creation tools
