Research Methods I

Catalog description

This course is an introduction to educational research traditions, procedures, theories and methods commonly utilized in educational settings. The emphasis is on the development of skills needed to utilize existing research as well as application of these skills to conduct research and evaluation in the content areas. Candidates will research and examine literature related to a problem which will be investigated in Research Methods II. Candidates will work with a University content area faculty member to determine an appropriate focus.
