Exceptional Learners

Catalog description

This course is designed to prepare candidates to effectively work with and teach students with exceptionalities. Emphasis will also be placed on helping candidates to consider learning environments, cultural, and socioeconomic factors in addition to student abilities when selecting effective teaching strategies for learners with exceptionalities. A field experience is required. (Offered every fall term.)
