Business Law: Current Issues This course is a study of business law cases and current controversial legal issues in society that impact organizations. Students will engage in critical analysis and debate on the legal, ethical, economic, social, political, and constitutional impacts of the issues presented by each scenario. Topics may include the following issues: environmental, social, governance (ESG) and sustainability factors; human rights; healthcare; employment; international law; diversity, equity, and inclusion; sports and entertainment; political actions and policies: or social media and emerging technology. Prerequisites: Sophomore Status. (Offered Fall and Spring).
