Catalog description

This course provides an overview of data analysis and management science concepts and techniques to support decision-making processes throughout the organization. Topics include reporting past performance to drive business planning, predicting the value of future market variables, and optimal decision-making under constrained resources. The course includes the application of software with an emphasis on data visualization and advanced spreadsheet functions. Implementing analytics in a programming language, e.g., Python is a tenet of the course. Prerequisites: MAT 112, BUS 225. (Offered fall and spring terms.)
