Catalog description
An introduction to reading and researching scientific literature and scientific writing. The course also addresses issues dealing with ethical conduct as a scientist. This course fulfills the writing intensive requirement. Prerequisite: QEN 101, QEN 102 and BIO 201 or BIO 202. Prerequisite or Corequisite: MAT 130, MAT 131, MAT 260 or QLC *60 Quantitative Literacy: Statistics; or permission of instructor. (Offered every fall term.)
