Catalog description

A study of cellular and molecular biology with evolution as a unifying concept. This course, which has both lecture and laboratory components, discusses topics such as structure and function of cells, DNA, RNA, and proteins. Lab fees apply. Recommended prerequisite: High school chemistry or CHM 111. (Offered every fall term.)
