Principles of microbiology, which include both lecture and laboratory components, with emphasis on the pathogenic bacteria, viruses and fungi. This course may not be counted towards the biology major. Lab fees apply. Recommended prerequisite: High school chemistry or CHM 111. (Offered fall and spring terms.)
