This course provides an introduction to the field and scholarship of Technology and the skills necessary for success. Course Learning Outcomes 1. Explore research design, research proposal development, and the conduct of research as it applies to their dissertation topics. 2. Make effective written and verbal presentation of academic thought. 3. Articulate a scholarly identity and professional goals, and place them within the context of their discipline. 4. Read, understand, and write scholarly knowledge using accepted formats such as the APA style. 5. Synthesize and summarize information. 6. Critique academic literature and proposals constructively.
