Clinical Interventions In Social Work

Catalog description

This course is designed to give advanced generalist social workers at the masters-level an opportunity to examine, compare and evaluate a variety of evidence-based clinical approaches and interventions used in social work practice. Students will gain knowledge and understanding of the main tenets of each therapeutic approach and/or intervention and will be encouraged to use critical thinking and analytical skills to compare and differentiate these various approaches.
