Catalog description

This second research course concerns the data analysis component of social science research and program evaluation. The course covers the procedures for the rigorous, valid, reliable, and credible collection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data to arrive at decisions that improve interventions and contribute to knowledge. Students will begin to contemplate the research design for their culminating research project. Prerequisite: SWRK 52000. Prerequisite(s): SWRK 52000 FOR LEVEL GR WITH MIN. GRADE OF D- Course Learning Outcomes 1. Analyze academic research articles and develop a systematic research plan for clinical evaluation purposes. 2. Analyze and interpret the results of qualitative and quantitative research studies. 3. Develop and choose appropriate statistical analyses. 4.
